What to Expect

What will you expect when you navigate through this site? Let me tell you up front that I am dedicated to preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are NOT going to find any type of "prosperity" message, nor be subject to any teaching that deters from the fact that we are sinners deserving of death. Whether you are rich, poor, sick, well, open to faith or hostile towards anything to do with God, it does not matter. We are all born in rebellion against authority, and specifically God's authority. The belief that "cleaning up your act" or doing so-called "good deeds" will make things right between you and the Sovereign LORD God Almighty is the equivalent of bathing in a sewer using a filthy menstrual rag (Psalm 52:1-4, 53:1-3; Isaiah 1:8, 53:6, 64:6; Romans 1:18-32, 3:10-18, 23). We cannot in any way make ourselves righteous in our own strength (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are corroded with the stench of wickedness, and there is no denying that fact (1 John 1:8). We are in SERIOUS trouble and without the intervention of God, we are headed to a real, literal hell as the just punishment for our evil behavior and deeds, small or great. Nobody is getting away with anything, and nobody is getting out of their day of accountability before God (Matthew 12:36; Luke 12:13-21; Romans 14:12; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Hebrews 9:27; 1 Peter 4:5).

Do not believe for one minute that dictators, despots, perverts, mass murderers, thieves, the varied wretches of history, or YOU for that matter will end up as nothing more than worm fodder when you take your final breath, and don't buy into the notion that if you are going to hell, that it will be some eternal "kegger" with your buddies. That's a lie. Hell is horrid, terrifying, and a place without love, mercy, forgiveness, care, concern, or sympathy (Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-31). You DON'T want to end up there! The Bible tells us enough about heaven to want to go, and enough about hell to want to avoid it at all costs. If you want to make things right with God before that day arrives (2 Corinthians 6:2; James 4:13-14), it is only through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son. He is the ONLY way God has chosen for us to be saved from our sins. Nobody and nothing else will do (John 3:16, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:6-11, 6:23). Admit that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself, believe that Jesus Christ is LORD, and that God raised Him from the dead, and according to the Bible, you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10, 13). It's as simple as saying, "Lord, save me! " Confess that He is LORD of your life and tell others about Him as well (John 4:29). Get a copy of the Holy Bible (I recommend the New King James Version), begin reading the Gospel of Luke, talk to God in prayer each day, and join a good Bible-believing church in order to be among fellow Christians and spiritually grow (Hebrews 10:25).

I invite you to look at the links to the ministries on this site to get further information about your new life in Christ, and you can always get in touch with me at: donaldwhitchard@gmail.com as well. Welcome to the family!
