I am a Louisiana "swamp boy", born and reared in Lake Charles, part of what is referred to as "Cajun country". I arrived in this world on January 3, 1960, under severe medical conditions that could have ended my life if not for the doctors who delivered and cared for me. The all-night intercession of family prayer was another reason why I'm here today. I was dedicated to God's service in those prayers, and in 1975, that prayer was answered when I gave my life to Jesus Christ and answered the call to Christian service. I'll be the first to admit that my walk with Him has been on the bumpy side (which was my fault!) over the years, and I've had my share of crises, but I've also been used by Him in ways that, looking back, have made a difference in people's lives for His glory. Since 1986, He has given me the opportunity to serve Him as an evangelist, teacher, adjunct professor, pastor, jeweler, chaplain, and now as a writer of Biblical studies for online ministries specializing in prophecy, current events, and other issues vital to the remnant church in these last days.

I'm a graduate of Louisiana College, Pineville, LA (B.A., History/Biblical Studies,1984); New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity in Christian Education,1994), and Andersonville Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Exposition, 2000). I completed a residency in healthcare chaplaincy from 1999-2003 through the Clinical Pastoral Education program at East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, LA, concentrating in Trauma/ER, NICU, Psychiatric, and Palliative (end-of-life) Care. I have been married since 1983 to the love of my life, Cathy, and blessed with three children, two here and one with the LORD. We lived in the New Orleans area for almost fifteen years before having to leave due to Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005. We ended up in Oklahoma and moved to Muskogee in October 2005, where we bought our first house (after years of apartments and parsonages) and settled down. My daughter teaches high school English and Drama in a rural county of southern Oklahoma. My son works for the local Walmart and is in the process of completing his degree in mass media and animation at the local university. All I can say is that my life has not been dull, but more than that, we are all waiting for the "Blessed Hope" of Jesus' return and the beginnings of the promised new heaven and earth. That will be the great adventure, and I pray you are ready for it as well.
